Foundations · a wider social product
The repository contains work on profiles, discovery, posts, connections, trust signals and optional service credits. These are preserved development foundations, not promises that they are enabled in the hosted beta.
Planned · AI with a clear role
Explore responsible contextual safety, more relevant discovery and visibly identified AI pets or assistants. AI pets could chat one-to-one and participate in rooms with clear permission. This work needs product design, privacy controls, safety evaluation and cost testing before release.
Longer term · more independence
Investigate more device-hosted storage and communication while keeping practical delivery, identity and safety boundaries. The current beta depends on hosted infrastructure. Universal offline connectivity, fully server-independent delivery and end-to-end privacy are not current capabilities.
