A focused first step
The developing Android beta brings these purposes into four fixed shared rooms. Sign in with Google or email, choose a username, confirm eligibility and start a text conversation. Public availability of this new beta is not yet confirmed.
More than a room list
The broader codebase includes work on discovery, posts, profiles and connections. These are not enabled in the hosted beta. Our roadmap separates implemented foundations from features that still need integration, evaluation and release.
Built around clear boundaries
The intended beta is for ages 16 and up. It includes reporting and blocking, with automated text checks that can make mistakes. It is not end-to-end encrypted: Q Chat and the temporary relay provider can access room keys. No dating or romantic solicitation is allowed.
